Hours of Operation

Teays Valley Child Development Center is open from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, except for the holidays listed to the left.

Preschool hours vary depending on the class enrolled.

After school care is available for children attending Teays Valley Christian, Eastbrook Elementary, Mountain View Elementary and Scott Teays Elementary schools. On normal school days, care begins immediately following school, and continues until 6 p.m.

In case school is dismissed early because of weather or other emergency, after school care will begin immediately following school dismissal and continue until 6 p.m.

Care for school age children is also available on scheduled days off school. This service is available from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m.

Emergency Closures

Teays Valley Child Development Center makes every effort to remain open during inclement weather. However, if a state of emergency is declared, the center will be closed. Any closures will be announced via the Charleston-area news outlets.

For our preschool classes, Teays Valley Child Development Center follows Putnam County's determination. If Putnam County is closed, preschool is cancelled. However, if Putnam County is on a delayed schedule, preschool classes will continue as normal.
