ADMISSION POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

Requirements for Admission:

Day School: A parent must first make an application for a child. We are licensed to accept any child that is between the ages of two and twelve, provided that the child is toilet trained. Once accepted, a nonrefundable enrollment fee of a designated amount must be paid to secure a child's entrance to the center. Within thirty days of admission, a written statement from a physician describing the child's health status must be submitted. Below is a list of forms included in the admission packet, all of which must be completed before a child is considered fully enrolled in this facility.

The admission packet includes:

1. a comprehensive application

2. a physician's report

3. an emergency card

4. a food reimbursement eligibility form

5. a signed payment agreement

Preschool: Preschool admission requirements vary from the day school's in that the children must be four years of age before September 1 of the school year. An application, an emergency card, and a signed payment agreement must be completed prior to admission. Once accepted, a nonrefundable enrollment fee of a designated amount is to be paid. Within thirty days of admission, a signed physician's report must also be on file. All of these forms must be on file before a child is considered fully enrolled.

It is recommended that the parents and child pay a preadmission visit to the facility in order to prepare the child for the preschool experience. During this visit, the parent is to be informed of the facility's policies and program, and receive a curriculum overview. The Center will accept children with special needs, physical or emotional, if need can be provided, or center will provide other resources available in the area. This should be discussed in preadmission visit. Any questions pertaining to the school should be clarified at this time.
